Small Medium Enterprise is supported by Information Communication technology

For marketing products

Small Medium Enterprises  have important role to support economy in Global Financial crisis in Indonesia.
Their economy is stabile, although macro economy is not stabile, followed by
big company collapse and jobless employers. Because of the big role for economy
progressing in Indonesia, The Asia Pacific Cisco System is interested in making
Information Communication Technology education to Small Medium Enterprise. The
USAID invested 25 millions dollars to support the program. They will use ICT
for communication business support and marketing strategies. Crisis economy
global makes demand decrease almost 50 %. Through ICT, expect will enlarge their
knowledge and marketing strategies.


100 students from difference Universities in Indonesia will take part to educate
them. The 100 student will be trained before implementing this program. They
should create innovation and analysis road map how to make progress Small Medium
Enterprise by using ICT.

We give few opinions that optimize SME to use ICT for business, have to face
many challenges and have to implement step by step. We should have strategies
to educate them. The strategies like below,

1.Almost 50 % Small Medium Enterprise never operate computer as tool for business.
We have to educate them with simple methods and simple language, because Indonesia
computer use English language.

2.Do not make them afraid, give enjoy moment when we are teaching them.

3.Give Internet overview to open learning so that can motivate them to learn
Computer.

4.Give motivation that learning Internet Technology can help them to market
their products globally.

5.Give information, varieties communication can be used through Internet, as
chatting, email and create blog and how to post information to the blog.

6.Give motivation to them in order to up date their blog. And last but not least,
give them few Internet Marketing strategies.

7.Give them information that marketing products or business on the net must
face competitors as promotion off line so that they do not feel desperate when
failed.
